Devious Journal Entry

Hello dA! It's been another year of college and I'm finally back home. I have to finish a paper (GTF changed the requirements at the last minute >.<) but otherwise I am free of homework for three glorious months. As usual, I have a couple goals I'd like to accomplish this summer.

The most pressing is to clean my dang room. Currently, I have two sets of belongings; those of my child and teenage years, and the things I use up at school. I've moved back home for the summer, and there just isn't room for all my stuff anymore. I need to clean out my closet, and that means packaging up a bunch of stuff to donate. It's going to be weird giving away all my memories >.> However, that will mean I have a functional working space at long last. The only clear space in here is my bed and a path to the bed, so I have buckets of work to do.

Next I need to find a job. I have a few leads, so I'm too not stressed yet. I'm hoping for something between 30 and 40 hours a week, but that kind of work is hard to come by. I'm taking a few days off to rest and then it will be time to pound the pavement with apps in hand. Speaking of income, I'm also thinking about opening up commissions again once everything is settled. My last batch paid for two weeks of food, so I'm hoping a summer full will be even better. 

I'm also starting my first costume project! I'll reveal more details later, but long story short I found someone willing to pay for the materials if I did the building. It's pretty much a dream come true <3 We've ordered all the supplies, and by the time they get here I should have my room clean and ready to go. It's going to be challenging but unbelievably fun

Finally I need to beef up my resume by doing some kind of extracurricular activity. Normally I do community theater, but I've been thinking that it would be fun to try and start some sort of art club in my town where people could meet and draw together. I'm not sure if anyone would be interested, but I think it'd be a super fun way to meet new people

Anyway, that's about it! I probably won't post very much for the next week or so as I get things done, fyi.
